Card from a Card :)
Hi Friends.
Happy sunday :)
I made this card with the main elements from a wedding invitation card which we had received from a relative long ago .
The card was lying idle and it had some great elements embossed which I have cut and used in this card .
The edges are distressed with the Tim Holtz Bundled Sage distress ink. The sentiment is stamped with inkadinanko acrylic stamp .
Finished it with a chic touch by the white pearls. Cut a sea green pattern paper with the shredding machine to get the thin strips and later coloured those with green crayons.
The lower flower elements are pasted on a thick paper strip with foam base underneath .
The sweet purple card stock is also from the old invitation card .

A Quick CAS card
Here is a CAS card I made with rubber stamping . Placed individual flowers stamped in a circle and then connected them with spokes to form a flower wheel :)
Two little birds are created using a small stencil . The sentiment is also rubber stamped . I have coloured the flowers , birds and the wheel with markers .

The twin flowers πΌπΌ
Hi friends .. A very good morning to all of you .
Yesterday night I made this card based on the below sketch from MFT Wednesday sketch Challenge -342 .
I prepared two tight petal quilling flowers from yellow quilling strip as the main embellishment on the card. Used the pattern paper on the outline of the sketch and filled up the extra space with yellow marker.
Connected the two flowers with quilling strips and added some double coloured quilled leaves . Decorated the pattern paper with stones and green quilled leaves . Used glitter paste for upper outline of the sketch . I have straightened it out later.
Stamped the sentiment and little flowers using Rubber stamp from stash.

A mixed Media quilling card
Good afternoon Friends..
I have made a mixed media quilling card to enter in Indian Quilling challenge blog IQCG 38 .
For this card I recycled the tags that come with cloths to make a colourful collage on the card base .
Then using pattern paper covered the brand name logos to give it a neater appearance . Placed my handmade quilling flowers and leaves on the pattern blocks as well as used some sticky stones for border and decorating .
Lined the pattern paper blocks with yellow marker to give the whole card a colour coordinated look .
The sentiment is a digital one :) Hope you like the effort to recycle the pretty tags π

A 3D project
Yesterday I bought a curd lassi and surprisingly it arrived in a cute earthen pot.. after drinkig it up, decided not to throw it out and reuse it after a bit of crafty touch .
So I washed and dried the pot .. and started my work on it .
Wrapped some quilling strips around it at the beginning and in the middle . Made some vertical stripes towards the end using the same quilling strips .
Pasted the quilled leaves and petals around it with clear glue . Also sprayed some glitter on it to give it a glowy look .
I had some colourful buttons in my stash so thought of using them for this project :) Lined up the sequins at the neck of the pot to give it a traditional touch . some of the quilled petals are misaligned , I have corrected them later.
Not sure if it qualifies , but entering it in Simon Says stamp Work It Wednesday Challenge where the challenge was to add some bling and Simon says : Get in Shape Monday challenge which requires a 3D project .

Happy Birthday π
Good evening friends π
Hope you all are having a good time .. this will be my first card which I made for MFT challenges. There are two challenges MFT colour challenge 73
and Wednesday Sketch challenge - Sketch 341
which has unfortunately ended and I couldn't enter...
As i was in a hurry to finish the project due to another urgent commitment , it didn't come out as expected :( and I am not satisfied with the novice look of it .
Still as there is less time left to enter in the challenge , posting it as such :) Hope you guys excuse the shabbiness π
The middle black portion is by pastel colour ... and the above fringe lines by black sketch , below fringes are by gray pencil .. are hard to notice in the photo .. :D
The blue middle portion is done by marker . The coral flowers and other little embellishments are quilled.
Used white pearls to give the card a cheery look .. the stamp is from Inkadinanko
